hmmm. not very cohesive, and the melody is like getting a wet sponge flung in your face. not feeling that corsten magic.

nice to hear that gurgling ferry/system F bassline again though - the best bassline in trance. see soul on soul for it in full effect... and did i hear a snare roll? :D

That is true. In fact, all the main elements seem to be taken straight out of Tenshi.

Yeah, Tenshi (still) is my favorite Gouryella track. I do like the beginning of Anahera a lot (also because of the chords), maybe there is more of it in the longer version, could hear it again at the end. It's good enough to enjoy it I think.

Not bad. I like it even though im not really into this sound anymore.
Always been a huge fan of Tenshi though so it should come as no surprise. :p

Really loving this!
For a 2015 track, he managed to get the Gouryella sound in it

I'm not a big fan of the main melody .. but I love the System F - Elevate sound he put in for the intro and outro

Giving what most trance(or whatever its called) sounds like these days, this is probably the best of a bad bunch.

It does sound a bit too clean and polished, but at the same time it sounds good. I'm sorta mixed feelings on this track, I think I need to get used to it.

if this gets a remix package release, it will be interesting to see what the remixes would turn out like.... points for the least 2015 sounding.

this single track can spark a revolution. ferry has already been responsible for such seismic shifts before in the genre. in fact you could probably link his electro sound to current day EDM noise. time to undo that damage, uncle ferry.

It doesnt sound polished at all,it sounds like a System F track from 2000..thats what i like about it.

And i wouldnt be bothered about remixes...just enjoy the track for what it is..Ferry going back to his roots.

In order to make a track that sounds retro / oldschool you have to use the same samples and sounds that were used back then. This track is pretty much as clean & polished as anything else released today and doesn't sound very oldschool at all apart from the bassline.

THIS is oldschool, a track released on anjunabeats in 2010.

Is this old-skool? (I tried my best) :p

i can hear the polish from the ty low quality clip, so the final track will be much worse.

and the remixes are important for further pushing a trance sound in 2015. could be enough to get the ball rolling. one single track? that's harder, no matter how good it is... and it is hardly ferry's best - far from it.
