How to change the key of a sample bassline loop?

I'm using a Bassline from a Sample Pack.
I have cut the sample into 4 regions and used the pitch editor but because I've split the sample into 4 regions, there's obviously a short amount of silence in between them.
Is this process as hard as I'm making it out to be? |

| First of all, what DAW are you using. If you're using FL Studio, it will be quite easier for me to explain the procedure. Anyway, have you checked if your sample has been set to a specific tempo? You should be lucky if you explore the various knobs on the sampler you've loaded the wavefile into. |

Like point mentioned, it's about the Daw. Since we do not know what you are using...
In Ableton, use the Transpose on each individual clip |
