| man ive noticed on this messageboard that some people are just too hard to please lol i had a great time at exchange for nicole.she had the whole crowd (including me) moving til the end of her set. im glad i didnt miss this. |

That's good you had a good time man, glad someone did! I'm not hard to please, it's just I've seen and know that she can play way better. She didn't even play until 6am like she was supposed to did she? Her set at Lot 613 last year was :crazy:
Like I said before, DJs tend to not play well at Exchange. Saw this happen with Diggers, Sasha, Maceo, and now her. |

you know, I have to agree. I've seen 3 completely different DJ's aply there and each time they weren't at their best. Having said that, a lot of it had to do with the crowd; it's externally mixed down there - persian bankers in bad suits with their over made up girlfriends, random show ups who had no idea who were playing then a small group of hardcore fans. I think it's tough for DJ's to play to that crowd. It also felt like a drinking crowd, not really a dedicted music crowd - it really thins out after the bar closes. |

they will have at least 500 tix at the door. Avalon typically only sell half its capacity online through presales |

what a fun night and what great running into everybody.
other than the live vocalists, i think his set was spot on. glad that he played a lot of new rabbit hole tracks as well.
i left at 830 but i would say this was one of the top markus avalon sets for me. |

i think he did record it for the world tour for this month, but guessing we'll only hear bits of each part. hopefully he releases the whole thing as well on his soundcloud. |

| Such a great night! I always love the first few hours of the dark/prog stuff during his long sets. Didn't even mind the rabbit hole which isn't usually my thing. Dead tired today but it was worth it! |

some of the rabbit hole tracks were :eyespop::eyespop::eyespop::eyespop:
he also played a simon patteron mashup i believe, usually don't see markus play 140+ bpm. |
