it's tough to put into writing what to do
i suggest go out to a local clubnight or something and just stand by the dj booth and watch
or get friendly with a local dj and pick his/her brain
or you can just lock yourself in a room and play with the stuff...
get to know your equipment, play with it, and try things out |

I couldn't tell ya
At my job, they have soem CD players, and I suck at mixing songs in and out.
I say find someone that has CD players and let them teach you soem basic concepts. |

I have one of them and i find them easy to mix but again hard to explain in writing. |

turntables are more hands on.

I agree with most when they say turntables are better, there is something about being able to physically touch the vinyl, but yea I'm planning on gettin a CDJ soon, I have a three channesl mixer and need to fill that other channel. |
