ton of record shops on melrose, can't say that they are good though. to tell you the truth, i'd only buy from DMC Records if i had to. They have a Higher Source on Melrose now, but I still prefer the Huntington Beach location. I can't justify buying records from stores that label tracks that I've had for months already (i order all my stuff overseas) and as "new releases." its not their fault that none of those shops can seem to get a good trance buyer, but hell, if ur lookin for house, u can't find a much better selection than on melrose

hmm..interesting. anyway, i'm not into seeing wut new fresh releases i can get as much as just how things are over in the LA trance scene. but thanks for the input tho. :)

however..i can't stand house. ugh. haha

i wasnt aware there was a Higher Source on melrose now but theres ones in Huntington Beach and Santa Monica which are decent, nothing to write home about though.

As others mentioned DMC on melrose is pretty much the best around for trance theyre also carrying alot of hardhouse now, down the street each way are grooveriders and beat non stop. grooveriders carries some trance but i cant remember if beat non stop does or not

Also in hollywood theres Arons on highland they have some good tracks but they have a ty listening policy. another really good store for trance was frequency 8 in westwood but i think it closed down unfortunately :(

What else.. Dr Freeclouds in costa mesa. Afta Hour in Koreatown(LA). hmm i know theres others but i cant think right now, hope that helps

Hey don't forget Frequency 8 near UCLA! If you didn't know bro. The first frequency 8 was opened up in San Francisco, then they opened another in Seattle, and just recently Los Angelas. This record store was one of the first record stores to pioneer trance in the Bay area of California! There known for the spread of cyber trance! Go to the site below and find out more about them!

Go to this site! www.frequency8.com Mars & Mystre Remixers/Producers/DJ's << the owners

I hope this helps you a lot!

HIGHER SOURCE SUCKS! in santa monica they overprice all the records. the best place is THIS IS MUSIC on melrose they stock up good stuff (brand new) when the releases are set not in US in europe. the guys there know there electronic music too you can ask them anything and they can pretty much tell you. thats the best place
