It is what it is. I spent last night reading books by candlelight not because I'm so hip but because we had a huge storm roll through and it brought many trees down. We were without power for about 6 hrs.
The kids are confused and hurt. He went from being a super caring involved dad to replacing all of us with this nasty looking home wrecker that most likely makes him 'feel like a man' or whatever he tells himself. I know I'll move on, I'm already looking at going back to school and I'll have the kids most of the time. I'm not interested in relationships or anything of the sort for a long time. I never thought I would be one of 'those' people that would get a divorce. This has been a humbling experience for me. |

Somehow, I am the only American in this city I'm friends with who has bothered to learn celsius. Completely shocks me everytime to have friends, who have lived here for 9 months, be confused when British speak about the weather. How can one live in another place and refuse to adapt? |
