Davi has some good productions. I got some of his stuff like awhile ago, interesting booking nonetheless.

Davi is dope. Did you create this event thread at the event? Lol.

DAVI was dope. His set was a mixture of deep house, progressive, almost psy and melodic trance, drum and bass..., I don't even know what to call it. And I wish I would have created this event thread a week or so earlier. Do Not Sit is a tiny venue, and honestly only had at most 30 people at one time during DAVI's performance. I kind of felt bad for the dude that the club was so empty, and feel like the promoters did a crap job trying to fill the club. His music would definitely be more well received at Trade, Steam, or Treehouse. I don't want to rag on Do Not Sit too much though, as the staff there was very friendly and welcoming. The bartender even came around once with a tray of free shots for everyone.

I see a pattern for the deep acts that i like never get that full attention they deserve, what a pity.

Davi was really good when I opened for him a few years back. Such a cool dude too. Do Not Sit can only handle about 88 people legally, so there is never big crowds in there. |
