First fw, then guv now this. Obviously well past it's prime and I haven't considered myself a zoner in years but I ended up there last December for deko-ze's old school vinyl party and had an amazing time with the music so on point. Also had the honour of playing downstairs a handful of times including closing sets on sat and sun mornings and on boxing day. Needless to say they were the highlights of my dj "career". The 24 and 30 hour marathon sessions I pulled without going upstairs or outside wont be touched haha. Zone went together after guv like ham and swiss and it will always be my favourite dancefloor in this city.
Might have to make the trek one more time before time before it's rubble.

It's only a matter of time before Toronto is the biggest NA city to have the fewest amount of venues playing non-commercial dance music. Very surreal to think that only 10 years ago places like Guv, System, Viva, Boa etc were around every Friday/Saturday night having good quality parties(not to mention tons of other venues like the Reverb which would host raves).
Most of us have gotten used to the city's developments but reflecting back on it can be somewhat depressing.

Does anyone now know the longest running club in Toronto post Comfort Zone? This was the longest after Guv closed down.

I heard the city has to give at least 1 year notice and they haven't done that as far as I know.
