Amazing. Will they be releasing who will be playing each night so we can decide which night to go?

blog to had a write up on this yesterday. There's suppose to be a couple of different plays as well as an interactive experience called the situation room where you get to experience the hunt for bin laden or something. That sounds cool but not music related lol
I don't think Unsound caters to dance music thou. Correct me if im wrong.

All those other events you described are part of the Luminato festival (June 10-26 I think). Unsound is just a small part of it (June 10-11). I also thought none of the music last year was dance music because I didn't recognize a single name but my friends that went said there was a room playing proper Berlin style techno all night. My advice - research all the names before selecting a night because chances are you won't recognize any this year like I did last year. I'll be going either way, regardless of whether I fancy any of the music. The venue is the main draw here for me! I'm really glad it's Unsound doing parties here again and not another promoter. They decorated it perfectly last year and I expect it to be either on-par or even better this year.

oh snap proper berlin techno would be the only sound that could fit in there! I might do some research before hand.
I read somewhere to rent out Hearn you actually have to rent out the whole week could explain the larger festival around it.

it seems the techno events get booked all to toika and 120 club now, with the odd exception of speedy j at coda, and now robert hood. ill take any decent techno booking in that thing. id actually take a good house show in there, but i would want it on the faster bpm side.

Unsound is happening @ The Hearn Generating Station once again next weekend.
Music Stage:
9.30pm - Alessandro Cortini (IT)
10.30pm - Roly Porter & MFO (UK/DE)
11.35pm - Tim Hecker & MFO (CAN/DE)
12.50am - Hot Shotz (Powell & Lorenzo Senni) (UK/IT)
1.55am - Evian Christ (UK)
Side Room:
10pm - Waclaw Zimpel with Rabih Beaini (PL/LEB)
11pm - T’ien Lai (PL)
12am - Olivia (PL)
1am - Aurora Halal (USA)
2am - Ancient Methods (DE)
3am - Orphx (CAN)
A lot of the music is very experimental but there is some techno in the side room on Saturday. Orphx actually has a set from 2012 @ Berghain up on his SoundCloud. Don't be a schmuck and miss out on this one. The venue alone is reason enough to spend $25 and go for one night. If you need a reminder, check out the pix from last year's party earlier in the thread.

Paula Temple.
It was set up in a church, it was loud and the visuals were great and not crazy.
I'm pleased I got to see Paula without having to fly internationally!
