death of EDM

many producers have spoken out against the trance scene, or what it had become - EDM, yet they have remained shackled to it out of fear of becoming irrelevant... i guess.

now the resistance has begun :stongue:

the direction of the scene has been very fickle historically, hopefully they are finding their way again.

with anahera follows a thrillseeker stab at a throwback track.

i believe a lot of them are looking for a way out. some very talented producers are churning out utter trash, they can't be happy with themselves, surely? i imagine a lot of producers are currently toying with the older style in their studios right now, hope they aren't afraid to come forward with the results...

If this is what the resistance will be like, it deserves to die.

maybe you could revive it with your mesmerising productions? :stongue:

sure, they aren't great but it's a step in the right direction. anything but that big room EDM guff.

they aren't going to revert instantly to classic trance... nor should they. they are still compromised coming from where they are now, they need to learn to drop the bad habits like these compression tricks, and get back to creating honest atmospheres and grooves. start producing music again instead of noise.

Don't start again. You know how that'll end.

You can beat match break tracks, so what your saying goes your way.

No, because it will once again end in you going overboard and getting banned, just like all those other times it's happened.
