Apparently it was because of the wind also... There was some damge done to the stages, and had to do repairs... They opened the gates at four as opposed to two today.... So it's a bit more understandable... Just pissed I missed Digweed is all.

Worst. I can't believe I decided to go and not sell my ticket on Friday evening like I did with the other one.
Because they use a cashless system, any refunds are charged $5, either by returning back to the credit card or they as for your banking information.. like WTF?
Also, they automatically top up your account if you don't unclick the box or whatever (which doesn't display on mobile phones)....
So basically, I put in $50... use $46 and at some point they top me up because they feel the need... or because they're sneaky and all of a sudden I have $55 to use. While I'm at the party I'm like okay something is ed up... why do I have more money. I end up using $21 of it and get home and find out what happens. Using a cashless system is total BS. I'll never go back to, I'm pissed and disappointed by this whole day/weekend etc.

lol the website even says theres an auto top up feature. how'd you even moss that up ? were you fried ? why would you even see zed lmao. i was power ed off like 2 bottles and a few pills that didn't even do and still distinguished what was going on...
they didn't sell smokes anywhere and cut liquor off at 10 pm. i most likely won't go back again myself |

As I said, on the mobile app it doesn't show. I hate mobile browsing to begin with. It always has problems and is only made for convenience, not always to make this work functionally. |

| Carl was great but only played for 1 or 1 1/2 hours? His set seemed to end abruptly with a 10 minute lull until Angello came on. What was with that? Angello played a decent tech set. |

I said I would never go to a festival with that weird cashless system as mentioned its designed for you to steal your cash... automatic top up is a scam...
I remember I went to sensation Amsterdam and they had a cashless system as well but instead of a wrist band you would go and buy preloaded chip card which you use for food and drink...
in general I think im over these big festivals... sucks to hear the fist day was cancelled thou... |

when i heard it got cancelled we were already drinking and it didn't even bother me. 50% of the price paid will be refunded, or so they say. yesterday i didn't even really check out any music lol just walked around then stood a bit at the trap stage then beach stage. i figured no one was really worth seeing. as it stands yea i probably won't return next year and this wednesday will prob be my last island party as well.
i was down for after parties but no chance paying 80$ for sound academy. all the artist parties are now all within 'ink' buildings lol. i should have read the signs before buying my ticket. ink taking over, non long weekend. the price. then the weather. the lord does not want digital dreams to be worthy, so it is not.
where da original promoters at? |

I hadn't been in that building since the Tiesto event back in 2003 on that epic Wednesday night!
not much has changed from what I remember , ( I don't remember much from 2003 lol)
I could walk around, but it was Guvstyle packed, it sounded good where I was standing, drank my face off like I was 19 again, will pay for this for the next 6 months..lol/ but man when I got there and saw 9553 line ups to get in I thought to myself, WHY WHY did I even bother!

For anyone with issues with wristbands, call your credit card company and dispute the charge. They will suspend the transaction and contact IntelliPay within the billing cycle.
Shady business.... On the DD website, there is no contact information for DD and IntelliPay (especially). My friend go 'Auto top up' as well but in a different amount. Unbelievable. |
