I don't even know how long it's been since I posted on this forum but I'll be damned if NYTA didn't bring some amazing people into my life that have become friends long after our trance days and far beyond just the music.
Last night I looked around the club (Guy J vs. Guy Mantzur, Hacienda Philly) and realized there were 9 of us there. And when I looked around the room at afters I realized we were still all together.
It's a beautiful thing.
I joined NYTA only a few months after my first DJ-driven event in 2006 and I ended up turning dance music into a successful full time career. I'm sure a few of these guys could say the same.
