I love the redundancy of Neo New Wave.

Another fifteen years and we can have New Neo New Wave.

I playfully made fun of her for the rest of the day.

I liked the first 2 or so songs by Kygo that I've heard (Cut Your Teeth and his Coldplay remix) but he's really a one-trick pony.
Paradox Lost
Beatport will often market music in their newsletters in terms of these buzzword genres, but few of these terms are tossed around or even taken seriously outside of the niche internet communities from which they emerge, and are really just ways of describing different stylistic twists within a larger genre. It can be a helpful organizational tool, but it's mostly meaningless, and you wouldn't be wrong in calling this music something else.

I guess I would have done the same thing after collecting myself. If she was hot.

Logging onto Spotify today, their top suggestion for a playlist to listen to was 'Totally Tropical House' lol. First track? Kygo. Not exactly my brand of gin, but I would much rather listen to this than the Skrillex/'Harlem Shake'-type of electronic music that was popular a few years ago.
