the insomnia remix is asinine. as hank hill would say. just why?! well, we know why...

concerning the OP. the real question is - how did you come by these? and what compelled you to listen to what you know would be trash? it can hardly be surprising that they are complete dog , no?

Yes, it's inoffensive - because it doesn't do anything.

Okay, that Insomnia remix is obviously inane and stupid, but really not as horrible as you guys are making it out to be.

The reason for my reaction were the strangely awkward vocals.

its a mediocre as remix, but I dont think its awkward. Just really boring and pointless compared to the original versions.

I have spent 5 hours of today focusing all my raging fury towards the remix.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That "Insomnia" remix is just boring. I never thought the original was a sacred piece of music so it's not really insulting anything, it's just dull as hell.

Not as as the crap that John Askew spews out though.

How could I not come to this thread and point out how two of today's most successful DJs (is Guetta still DJMag #1?) make a fat, sweaty Dutch guy high on whatever look like a distinguished highbrow artist?
DJ RANN
This thread has so much win (in a sad kind of way)

It's difficult to believe that the Guetta and Aoki tracks actually exist and are not works of parody.

They've really become the epitome of every bad and cliched DJ caricature.

The comments are golden though, and I love the fact Aoki has tried to find ways to sue Wunderground on several occasions for defamation, only to be told to off by his own lawyers every single time.

Guestta at this point juts doesn't give a . He never had any integrity and was always just in it for the money. He doesnlt care that he's the worst type of cheesmonger but Aoki always has that rich kid/I want respect thing that will always be his downfall because he's a walking joke now.

The Insomnia track is bad because the Original is somewhat sacred and to do such a weak remix (it's really a remake) from someone who had a big name just smacks of trying to cash in. Having said that, it's actually Faithless and Arista who are cashing in, as I can't imagine they would have given a penny of the publishing away for that.

As for taucher, he's always been a oddball but some of his tracks are ing incredible - his antics may look a little tired now, but A) that was the 90's, and B) Guetta and Aoki can never look back and say "at least I made some great music".
