Sven Vath and Richie -Plastikman- Hawtin
Whoever put these 2 together is nuts, I think Turbo will be left with no roof at the end. I don’t know how people will survive 2 hard German techno sets in 1 night :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

The roof is gone...whatever roof was left....the other will tear off.
BY THE WAY SINCE YOU LIKE THEM BOTH......RADIO 1 ESSENTIAL MIX on NOVEMBER 9th....i believe....from I LOVE TECHNO 2002 in FLANDERS EXPO GENT BELGIUM. Think....you get to hear them back to back on radio in early november and get torn apart by them live in late november. |

| Why is it on thursday, why didn`t they put that event on Friday or somethin like that, don`t they know that some ppl work on weekdays, :(, or do they have some kinbd of Trance Thursdays at Turbo |

wow! vath! damn... i remember downloading a couple of his sets a while ago cuz i was interested, and at the time i didn't really like them, but i've getting into techno more and more and more... and these sets kick major ass. a thursday though? man... i dunno... would be pretty cool though. btw, the sets that i have are:
* sven väth - live @ cocoon club in hafentunnel, frankfurt [11-08-00]
* sven väth - live @ concept 2001, statenhal the hague
in case anyone wants to search for them. damn nice... |

Sven Vath is amazing - but for some reason when he's in Toronto he never performs as well (or puts in as much effort) as his European sets... At least the last time at Tonic he sucked real bad..
Richie I've never seen live...

Hah...my boyfriend was at that party. I think he has that set, and indeed, it is awesome.
This night promises to rock! (don't forget your earplugs!!) I've never heard either of these guys, but have heard great things about both of them. Richie Hawtin is a pioneer of techno, and even better, he's Canadian. (not german)
I'll probably be sportin' the "I *heart* techno" shirt again for this... :D Thank god for no classes on Friday, otherwise I'd have to miss Hawtin AGAIN. |
