I don't know if it's generally considered rude per say (I think it is), but I also don't get how people can have loud conversations on their phone in public without any shame in what they're talking about. Usually said people who do this are talking about some of the most ignorant stuff I can possibly think of. I personally hate talking on my phone in public, especially in a loud tone.
