Nay? I find that classic Detroit-ish stabby synth sound found in Etheral and the first track in the thread to have a very liquid, "squelchy" sound to it.

There's new genre potential here: Squelchy Techno.

Second half is not as mellow, but first part is squelchy and very Detroit-ish:

Not really mellow either, but very Detroit and my fav. from the same vinyl:

I can't say I have any clue what you're on about with the whole scuelchy concept. But any thread about deep-mellow-detroid-techno-whatever needs some audiokonstrukte:

Sorry to bomb this thread with an ID request but I have a feeling you guys will know it. Can you scan to the last 10 seconds of this clip and pick up the obvious Detroit melody? It has the Delsin/Detroit sound to it and I can't for the life of me remember the ID!!

Its from a Dozzy set in 2011:

All the tracks in this threat are nice. System-J posted some great tracks as well.

I also hear squelchy acid sounds in it, like the first track.
Syntonic

Nice track, but requires album purchase.

^One of the best tracks I found this year.
