I have tried abstaining from this crap...but I fear that I won't be able to keep this up much longer and I'll do something incredibly stupid (like turn on the tv to anything other than SBS or ABC)

well I suppose this addiction to soapies started just like many of my other addictions, at home. I suppose when pretty much every female in your family watches e soapies you adopt their behaviour.
I think this also explains my addiction to Miss Universe pageants

Lou & Rosie are on/off/on/off
As for Home & Away, I stopped watching that 2 years ago, they moved it from itv to channel 5 but 5 didn't show an episode for over a year so it kinda lost the point in trying to remember everything :whip: |
