'World's First Super Deluxe', lol

Fairly smart i'd say, the amount of people buying GU compilations in 2015 is a fairly small market but most of them probably are older now with a good amount of disposable income to throw on stuff like this. It's basically the same strategy aging bands and pop acts do.

hope it isn't going to be all that rock-infused stuff he does.

i welcome GU back. last good mix cd was tenaglia's balance. seems they are out of fashion, which is a shame. loved mix cd's since day one.

Who on planet Earth still gives the slightest about James Lavelle?

Didn't GU already 'come back' with Solomun's release last year :conf:

I thought that was decent. Way to go downhill!

Isnt this like his 5th one. He did GU 37 and at least 3 more before that.

Why does GU seem so partial to James Lavalle. Also almost every GU 30s cd was meh with maybe the exception of maybe two ( Seamans Lithuania being one of them ).

Interesting, but I wish they went with someone a bit more surprising than Lavelle. Solomun for their GU40 was along the right line, but I don't really know who is that interested in Lavelle anymore (and he was always my least favorite out of the original GU roster)...

Eelke Kleijn would have been a solid choice for GU

great tune from his brother...
