| Can't book a line up like that these days because DJs charging a fortune. Cost for that event would be crazy, but would be fun to attend. When was the event? |

| While that's true for a lot of events, I know at least two of the DJ's on that flyer will seriously cut their rate (i.e. massively) if you can show them that the event is going to be something special or unusual. |

Spundae was one of the first promoters to book PvD way back when.
In fact, for a great history lesson about Spundae, check out the link below:

Spundae was pretty much one of the first promoters to book any DJ who became big in the US in the late 90s and early-to-mid 2000s (Armin, Markus, Digweed, Sasha, Ferry, G&D, Tiesto, you name it). Remember when Ferry came into the picture -- dude was wrecking left and right. But, he got good real fast!

End of an era....
Probably my all time favorite Spundae night

Then the afterparty at 1015 with Sasha & Diggers who played dark progressive bombs until 6-7am. Epic night |
Was able to catch this massive event in Chicago. Say around 2002. What a f'n night! Oakey opened, the Chemical Bros killed the place, and then Sasha and Digweed came in and destroyed anything that was left. Would give anything to see an event like this again...... |

and what ever happened to Jerry Bonham?

I always assumed he ran Spundae(or was a part of it?)
He was a great DJ, when prog started to die and Spundae moved away from 1015 he disappeared? |
Great prog from Jerry Bonham. He was a master of the trade. |

One of the co-founders, Guiv, is part of group (same group behind Jones, Oddjob, etc) building a new club called Ride. at 900 Marin St.
Don't know concept or focus, though.just thought some may be interested.
First pic (ill post later if no one does) shows them just really starting buildout.
Sound system looks on place and big. |
