I'm a little disappointed they haven't gone further with the modular UI
They've gone to the trouble of creating lots of pretty looking modules, but it looks like they've left the hooking up the same as it always was. I think it might have been a little bit more intuitive to have a UI similar to something like Bazille or Reason and have the nitty gritty represented in the background.
Mind you, I've never got on with Reaktor. Life's too short and it always seems to do what it wants between me saving and re-loading a project. :p |

Ditto. I've tried to get into Reaktor, but, yeah,...life's too short. I really don't like the direction that NI is going with almost all the new products being based on either the Reaktor, Maschine, or Kontakt platforms. Oh well, I guess it works for them. |

I mentioned a couple of years ago that they would turn into little more than a content provider as a) development costs are less and b) support costs are less.
I think that's the crux of it. |
