Yeah, I remember hearing this a long time ago and being a fan of the Altered Beast sample... (me, being a fan of the Sega Genesis? With my avatar, who would've thought? :P)

Altered Beast was one of the first Genesis games I played, maybe even first game ever...sample is terrible in retrospect, but is the reason for it's notoriety today. Gotta love it.:)

everywhere has a 6:30 copy that fades out prematurely... pathetic. they must have ripped it from a cd version.
99.9% sure i will have to buy the vinyl and rip it myself if i want it, not sure i can be arsed with that. bullcrap.
