OT: I actually had that Model 870 pistol-grip shotty when I was in the military.
Although I don't own or condone firearms anymore, I would recommend it if you're seriously looking for one. It's a nice piece.
Sorry folks, now back to regularly scheduled programming.

Of course you think the comment was superb - you're an imbecile.

I'm sure he fancies himself a regular Travis Bickle.

Er, apparently not as you don't currently own a shotgun.
But by all means, go ahead. You're 5 times more likely to die as a gun owner so maybe by buying another one you'll increase your odds!

I've always hated when ppl say that. You're also 10x more likely to drown if you have s pool but that doesn't stop people from putting a huge orgy in their gigantic salt water pool on their to do list when they reach a million

Way to pull out the big guns in the statistics department, lol.

You hate it because it's true, and that's one of the test analogies I've heard in a long while.
A pool does not exist for the sole reason of killing someone. There;s no such thing as an assault pool (unless you count Bill Cosby's hot tub.
When depressed, statistically speaking, you are incredibly unlikely to use a pool as your preferred method of suicide.
You are not going to pull a pool on a burglar only to have them take it off you and drown you in it.
You are not going to get in a fight with your spouse and in a moment of passion drown him/her in the pool and in a (or at least high unlikely).
You child is not going to accidentally find your pool and drown you in it (they may drown themselves but that's a different conversation).
A family member is not going to hear you come in late and accidentally mistake you for an intruder and drown you in the pool.
These are the main reasons that the "5 times more likely" stat exists.
And organesto, here some other apples you won't like either:
