Just curious. Seems like just 5-6 years ago, Reason was one of the major players for trance and other electronic styles, but I hardly ever see it mentioned anymore. Anybody here still using it? Is it your main production platform, or do you use it in another DAW via ReWire?

I used Propellerheads Reason all the time. I use it for 80% of my sounds.
I been using Reason for 12 years now and it has come so far.
My favorite instrument in Reason is The Combinator.
1. The Combinator
2.reDrum
3.NN-XT sampler
3.Kong (I dont like Native Instruments Maschine software but i use the pads in Maschine as the pad controller for Kong)
4.Thor
5.SSL-mixer
6. Reason re (Check out the new Hydronexius re synth in Reason) :) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a_icR4u4wWs&t=157
Whatever Reason can't do Reaper can.

I still use reason, my reason friends moved on to fl studio though. Im not into molecular production so reason is fine with me.
Mr.Mystery
Reason 'til I die.
I'd say 80-90% of all my sounds come from Reason, though I have it ReWired to Ableton for a couple of selected VSTs.

I pretty much use Reason exclusively. I still love working with the rack environment and the SSL-inspired mixer, but the sequencer, live performance and audio handling capabilities still need a lot of work.
