Thought some people here may be interested in this. I'm not familiar with much of anything on the TL other than the Chvrches remix, so I can't vouch for whether it's any good or not.

Unbearably twee. Didn't like this at all.
And people have been playing drum 'n bass at the wrong RPM since 1994. |

been listening to it again this weekend - it's a fantastic mix, especially as a throwaway podcast.
no need to be so tryhard, no-one claimed he was pioneering by playing this at the wrong speed. they've been fading records for decades too, is that defunct and out of fashion also?!
the record works great at both speeds, that's what makes it a great move by sasha - and the transition into the record after (another girl) is glorious. |

| Nobody calls fading records "very clever". |

in this day and age, maybe they should :happy2:
the fact he ran it at a lower tempo is hardly the clever part anyway. it fits like a glove and it shows he is thinking outside the box. it may not be clever per se, but it's a nice touch.
these days, djs are not that creative AT ALL. so this gets a little golf clap. |
