Kathy's Song will be released next Monday here in the UK, and we should have copies on-line on Friday.
As for new productions, Mat and I have just finished our next release!!!!
It's taken a long time and but after months of messing around we have got the mix we like and this will be released on Mat, Michael and my new label(ATS Limited) probably in the New Year. The track is by Endymion (an early project of Mat & Michael's) and is a remake of their classic tune 'Running'which was released back in 1999. There is a new remix by Endymion and also a NEW Mat Silver & Tony Burt remix. We're pretty excited about this one, and once we have a few promos I'll be sure to send you one down to play to the crowds of Cape Town.
Also we have started our new Mat Silver vs Tony Burt track called 'The
Ultimate Wave'. We have the melody and hook done (its full of emotion and arguably better than the Perfect Wave melody , but I guess you guys candecide on that!) and now it's time to work on 2 mixes. One hard and one more uplifting. This will be released on Above the Sky Records in early 2003 too.
To answer your question regarding Fine Day / Unique I did not assist on this production. In a way I did I guess. Both of these tracks are nearly 2 years old but Mat and Michael always weren't sure of them. Unique had been turned down by a few labels and so had Fine Day by quite a few large labels, who were worried about the use of the classic Opus 3 sample. I had heard them in the studio quite a few times and told them wehad to release them!!!! So we set up a new label together and the rest his
history I guess. :) The results and feedback have been great so far and the release has now completely sold out everywhere. We're waiting on a re-press at the moment.
