Please someone help me!! I have a Pentium 4 1.6 mhz, Win XP os, 512 mb and 2 soundcards(audiophile 2496 and SB Live Platinum) = a powerfull computer isn't it??
The problem is that i keep getting the message "ASIO Overload" in my Logic 5.2. My computer is too good for this!! I've already dowloaded the latest drivers, I've already disabled the SB Live, I've just formated my whole computer (and installed only Logic and Plugins)...I dunno what else can I do...
Please tell me what can I do to stop receiving this message...i'm already thinking on changing my sound card... |

Maybe you just need adjust the latency on the audiophile card? |

no actually .. its logic, if you have more then 5 vst's you will get that problem. Easy way to solve it, uncheck everything in the view menu. Logic's graphical Gui is really cpu intensive. Its not your soundcard. |

nice try folks but unfortunatly it doesn't work...i've already dropped the latency to 2888ms and unchecked all itens in view menu and still overloads at the same time...
i think i'll try cubase sx...i'm crying here...i need to make my songs!!!

someone told me that cubase sx supports a lot more synths, effects and samples at the same time...i think i'm gonna switch to SX...Logic is powerfull only in Mac...for PC, cubase is a better choice
