Still don't understand how people can dance to this sort of stuff, let alone enjoy it. No soul, no emotion, no groove. It's like the first time I heard Dubstep in a club - it seemed like people were forcing themselves to dance to it, not knowing why or how.

Hommage to Richard Simmons? Is he with child or had a really big meal before the photo shoot? Mom jean shorts are hot.

its a shame. i think like 15 years ago when he was starting to make his name known in the music scene he really did care about the music and taking people on a journey

Looking back on it now, it's pretty obvious he was always the businessman. He was only doing the trance thing for as long as it was popular and then jumped ship as soon as the popularity started to fade, not to mention how he always had staff to produce his work for him.

And I'm not saying this in a negative way either. Some people are artists, some are businessmen.

nothing derogatory

I just kept busting his chops cause a few years ago he posted non stop how he I was the biggest New Orleans Saints fan...and then I called him out when he started tweeting about the seahawks or broncos

he also pro-claimed himself as a huge fan of the Washington Caps...then the past 2 seasons, he was all over the NY Rangers...

This is him in one post.

I believe (well actually I know for a fact) that in the 90's when he was coming up he loved the music and made most of it himself.

It then got to a point where dance music could make you serious money. In the 90's that meant a few grand for a set - I remember when Junior vasquez was paid $60,000 for his final performance and it as such a big deal that it hit mainstream news. Now $60,000 doesn't get you 30 mins of any of the top 20 Dj's.

When Tiesto realized the money that could be made, he just said it, time to cash in. All his tracks from that point on have been made by ghost writers and the funniest part of it is, that most people who got to know "Tiesto" when they were really just listening to a branding team and a puppet. He just showed up to fistpump and collect the check, like his SHM bretherin did.

He really doesn't give a anymore. The offer of $40m a year will do that to you.

wtf why was there a "minions" balloon in that crowd too??? :wtf:

Also, Tiesto is 46 years old now. Not saying that just because you're older you can't do what you used to do; but man what a different man he is compared to 15-20 years ago.

Tiesto is now the Kobe of EDM. He will be making most of the shots until he retires.
