Markus Schulz open to close, Feb 27 Avalon

| We got ours for $25 but when I added them to the cart, they were $20. Not staying until the end for this one unless it ends at 4am. 9am just kills me. We really like the last hour or so of his long sets but we will be leaving when the rabbit hole starts lol. |

oh ya you're not too into the techno sound haha. but ya, these nights/mornings just DESTROY you, i think i am going to take monday off this time. |

anybody else going to this?
i'm looking forward to it - even though there will definitely be some cheese the entire journey is still pretty awesome plus running into everybody is a definite plus as well. |

We managed to make it until 4am. As we were walking out, Grindhouse came on so it was perfect timing for us. Open to techno lol. 10pm to 12am was really good. We always like this stage of his long sets but this was a step above IMO. 12 to 4 was typical Markus (good). Guess he played to 10:00am but there is no way my 6 month pregnant wife was going to make that. That will be our last Markus for a while.
On a side note, that was one of the ugliest crowds I have EVER seen at Avalon. Washers in full blow mode just slamming into you all night. So many people were just ed up out of their minds. Saw a guy go into a K-hole right next to us just passed the out. Guys hitting on my prego wife right in front of me wtf.
Oh and Avalon started using the tiniest cups for their drinks. It's ridiculous. I guess that's a good reason for everyone to get ed up instead. |

it was a new remix of grindhouse however :D
but as greg mentioned, the 10-12 was definitely the best i've heard. he played a lot of older tracks and overall was really good!!
i left at around 6:30.. |

did they resend a correction?
i didnt get selected for the exchange show but then got an email saying it was an error and that i had been selected |

Nope, none of us got another email. Lots of people on facebook are complaining.
It doesn't make any sense honestly. Markus isn't that huge in SF anymore (trance in general), it's why he's at Audio and not a bigger club. Just by using one metric, there are <1000 people even on the facebook event. I expected it to sell out, but it doesn't make any sense that out of 6 people registered we got 0 tickets. Were there bots? It'll be interesting to see how many tickets start popping up on after market sites. |
