This year, I took advice from some of the users here and decided to save my money from local parties and head to Europe. Been there a few times this (last) year and now I can see what you guys were talking about. I can see myself doing this every year. Its so much fun and worth every penny, even though it left a massive hole in my wallet.

So, my favorite parties would definitely be:

Giegling Christmas (best experience in my life)
Dekmantel -Sunday
Ostgut Zehn
ADID@Else
Atonal @Kraftwrk -Friday and Saturday

My goal for this year is finally make it to the island, however I've been led to believe that to make it a great experience you have to go with people that have been there before and know their way around. I hope I can do it sooner than later.

My brain is absoulety shot, but 2 recent ones that I had a really good time at were:

CityFox - 12/12 - Buttrich, Phillip Jung, Thuger, Frank & Tony; really really cool venue. Had 4 different rooms, huge huge area.

Lee Burridge - New Years Day Sunrise Set - First time seeing him, and was blown away by the atmosphere, music, venue, everything. Really Really well ran event. Won't be missing Lee ever again!

what I should've done but circumstances...
even on paper that was party of the year.
I hate you now.....jk, soooo jealous, :)

anyway, here's a few to toss in:
Hyte-Villalobos NYD '15
Detroit as a whole
Sustain - Release -- if you didn't list it here, it's because you weren't there, no question, meaning put it on your '16 cal. as a must-do, for real.

i had a blast went there 2 nights in a row. first night was for hernan the opener played great, not many people there for him thoso later th crowd showed up, vibe was awesome!!! very few noobs and such. hernan was a journey

second night was parasole/silent servant and it was the same thing. the crowd just starts to get busy around 12. but it got pretty packed and everyone was dancing, met some cool peoples

the club itself is pretty cool. about the size of cielo and the walls light up just like it as well. function one sound
i def suggest you take a trip down there when you can and see a dj you wanna see if you can

only downfall is the bar closes at like 2 and if you still have a drink in your hand the bouncers come around and tell you to finish it or they take it away. mad rude

no drinking after 2?
how weird. its usually just sale...

It was so worth it man. I was there mostly to finally see Your Majesty Prince of Denmark (most of the people that I spoke to were there for the same reason) but the guy did not show up at the time he was "schedule" for. Apparently he's a weird cat and gets very anxious before a gig. I heard he played a few tracks Monday morning but unfortunately I was long gone by then :( I had the time of my life, nonetheless. That minimal-dubby-melodic sound was prevalent from start to finish. Dustin, Polo, Edward ooffff! Pure bliss!

btw, Vril is on another level. That guys life is about to change cause right now he is by far the best techno DJ there is. An opinion shared by many.

It live streamed on Boiler Room, there should be a replay. He/They were supposed to be headliners I guess but instead they played first to 0 people and the live stream just showed an old IBM laptop the whole time running what seemed to be a playlist...weirdo :toothless
