Couldn't find a post about this one and maybe I'm a bit late on finding out about it but this is one really fantastic album. Love the more club friendly direction he's going with as opposed to staying in the hazed out 115 BPM groove. Wish that the album flowed a bit better as some of the more chilled out tracks are mixed in with the more uptempo ones. Solid 9/10 for me. Can't stop listening to it.

We were discussing it in a thread about the Deepchord remixes of Slam: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...s=#.Vo7Lu0_RZHM

I haven't re-listened since then so can't add any more.

I have to say, this record has really grown on me. Initially I was only into 3-4 tracks but now I love almost all of it. It's of course the usual DC style but it feels a bit different from his other work. It's a bit weirder and more fast paced than usually. Some of the tracks are quite uptempo and some have interesting combinations of typical sounds that you usually wouldn't hear in a single track. Also, a lot of the tracks evolve other their runtime and add elements in the second half, which wasn't very common before with his music. There's also some nice sampling going on, a couple of the tracks have faint vocals or acoustic instruments. It's also not as heavy on the noise/field recordings as a lot of his other stuff and maybe a bit more melodic in places.

Of course it's not exactly experimental, but you get the vibe that he's playing around with the formula.
