I had a lot of other comments cooked up, but I've been drinking and am old. :/
Also drinking, also old. Older than you are. Not by much :o

I recommend everyone trying the AeroPress, it's cheap as hell and arguably makes even better coffee than the french press. Also, you don't have to fight with the residues at the bottom since everything gets filtered.

Enema, definitely enema.
One could hardly ask for a more thorough, scientific guide. But damn, that's a lot of work. I'm a lazy SOB.

Arguably indeed. My friend has one of these, and I've still never had a better cup of coffee from that than I have from my french press, and we've tested it on the same coffee brands and so forth. It seems like hipster bull, but maybe we just haven't used it right.
Also, if your french press is working properly, there should be no residue in what you're pouring. It's all under the press. That's kind of the point :p

Why would you want a machine? Drip machines are about the worst way to brew coffee. The only advantage of the drip machine is convenience. I pretty much only use mine for my first morning coffee on weekdays and only because I can set the timer and the coffee is ready to go for me as I rush out the door to get to work in the morning.
I normally use a French press. I have two at home and one at the office. I also use an espresso machine regularly.
My favourate method is pour over.

Oh man wish I could have. I'm surprised I got that post out coherently, lol.
Also wtf @ coffee enema video. The coffee enema isn't even the uncomfortable or strange part, it's that the chick is clearly anorexic. Ughhh.

Yes. It's a pressing question. A French pressing question, for it's pressed by Mr. French.
It's time for me to grab my coat. Cheerio!

Yeah, that's what I meant by a machine, not a drip machine.
