Wondering if anyone has heard of this guy's discipline and practices any of it?
A few weeks ago I had one of my soccer games taped for me. I played terrible. It was uploaded to the internet and when I finally took a look at it I was horrified to see how stiff as a board I looked. I think years of injuries just took its toll. instead of fully correcting these injuries (knee surgeries, torn rotator cuffs, torn hip flexors) I just found ways around them by over compensating with other body parts. I always came home sore from practice and games but figured I was just getting old. When I finally saw this bit of film of me playing I couldn't believe how tense/stiff and sluggish I looked. It rattled me so hard I started looking into ways to get my flexibility back. I decided to get back into boxing, began doing some gymnastics training (at home, youtube crap) and did a complete overhaul of the way I was working out at the gym (less weights more body weight exercises). While I was researching different things I came across this guy Ido Portal and realized he trains a lot of my favorite fighters ( Boxing and mma) teaching them how to use all parts of their body.
I have always been in awe of the flexibility and quickness of fighters while maintaining such a thick powerful frame. I started researching more of this guy and found some of his workouts. I have since incorporated alot of it into my daily routines. What I have accomplished in a few weeks is insane. Im doing transitions into low bridges one armed, I am honestly 10x more flexible and agile. I can see the difference when I play soccer. I feel the difference everyday.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of this guy or if they have ever tried to add any of his exercises into their daily routines?
He seems to do a huge micture of gymnastics, dance and caporeira.
anyways some of the advanced stuff is wayyy to crazy for me to ever want to even try but some of the basics are challenging enough for me at my age and are things I think are now essential to add into my daily routines to keep my balance flexibility and agility at its peak. Doing the same workouts at the gym are useless and really are just for aesthetics. You have to learnbt o move in different ways if you want real strength.

Totally missed the fight and watched the leafs play in 4k....stupid decision. My buddy came by later and told me how awesome the fight was. I was pretty pissed I missed it.
I will never post a link to that video lol. Plus i think it was taken down. Thank God. I didn't play well or terrible it was just the way I looked. I looked like I was playing injured. I have a ton of old injuries and instead of fully rehabbing them, I just found different ways to overcompensate with other muscles. Since I started doing this aldo portal stuff though It's got y body moving in different ways it usually doesn't. I stretch like crazy now doing different routines I've never done. I feel so much better and look much better. if someone is actually interested in trying some of his stuff, I have a link to a good workout of his.

It was looking like Guerrero might out brawl him in the early rounds but he slowed down. Garcia was faster and more skilled. I'm glad Mayweather step down. Eddie Murphy was even in attendance.
