Q: What is Pleasurekraft?
A: A simultaneously visceral and cerebral experience induced only by the seductive, deep, groove heavy, underground techno inspired music that you hear the kids listening to .. – Common side effects include: unrelenting head bobbing giving way to complete surrender to physical movement commonly referred to as ‘dancing’.

Q: Where is Pleasurekraft?
A: In your CD/tape deck/vinyl/mp3/neighborhood Club/Lounge – anywhere where organically inspired synthetic music lurks, ready to jump in your skin and make you move! However, the most concentrated “red spots” have appeared to be in 2 distinct locations – Stockholm, Sweden, and Washington D.C, USA.

Q: When is Pleasurekraft?
A: Since the dawn of man, to the future of our future of our future…..

Q: Why is Pleasurekraft?
A: Because we are hedonists and when the groove captures you – all you can do is surrender with pleasure.

Turns out that the offer for guestlist to this event is not real.

I entered my name + 4 others to get on reduced guestlist for this event and I requested that I get a confirmation that I would be added because the last time I did this I arrived to find out that my name was not on the guestlist at all.

I advised provoke that I am coming from Ottawa (since I now live in the Capital) and that my friends are coming with me from Montreal, Whitby and Toronto. It's not that I'm cheap...it's that I'm spending hundreds of dollars to come back to Toronto for an event and had an expectation that I would get reduced guestlist. What I got instead was an e-mail telling me to buy the ticket at wanttickets.com/thisisprovoke.

What was the point of offering guestlist if it wasn't going to be honoured. I think Tranceaddict should think long and hard about what kind of promoting goes on in their forums. As a (TOTA)/committed supporter of tranceaddict for many years, through the good and the bad, I feel that Clubs and its promoters that do this to our members should not be allowed to falsely advertise in our music forum.

It's shameful to see how the Toronto Club Scene has become. It was never like this before. Once upon a time when you put your name down for guestlist you got a confirmation e-mail. Now you don't even get that and if you request it, they tell you to buy the tickets instead.

Anyways that's my take on this matter. Some of you may think it's ok to do this but I don't think it's right.
