this looks great, love HBO shows.
the pilot is 2 hours long and directed by martin scorsese. has terence winter of sopranos fame writing for it.
set in the new york 1970s music scene... punk, disco and funk :)
bobby cannavale aka gyp rosetti from boardwalk empire plays the lead looks like. stars andrew dice clay as well. |

thought the pilot was awesome
Cannavale is most deserving of an emmy for his portrayal. the 1st 10 minutes alone was some of the best acting I've seen on a TV drama since Gandolfini in the WhiteCaps episode of The Sopranos.
If there is one thing Terence Winter nails in all of shows, its Attention to Detail...he really nailed everything from the wardrobe to the music to the mannerisms of Peter Grant |

finally caught this... and it's ing brilliant.
spotted a few sopranos actors (benny, gene, richie)
bobby cannavale is awesome. i liked the small but important role andrew dice clay did too.
more people should be watching this, seems like it has been very low key. |
