| With the pending demise of Soundcloud (:D ), I've decided that I should probably start an account at hearthis.at. I've reserved my accounts, but haven't set anything up, uploaded anything, etc. yet. Anybody here using it? If so, post your page and I'll connect with you. Also, I'm interested in hearing your experiences, likes, dislikes, etc. |

Thanks for that Dave - had never heard of that site. Doesn't seem bad - it;s straight up soundcloud clone, quality is decent but the only gripe I have is that the load/seek times are a little long. I'm on a 300mbp/s connection and I can't imagine what it would be like on anything lower.
These coders need to realize not everyone is on Google fibre connection :whip: |

Decided to check this out and yea,like Rann said, it's a SC clone. in terms of image options and navigation some features are a little better actually than SC.
Found it interesting on the SC batch uploader/importer option. The base account only allows 2000mb (weekly)upload yet the batch importer uploaded way more than that from my SC account. As well, the base account only allows MP3 to upload (premium features multi encoding as well multi bit rate options),yet..the batch tool uploaded all my tracks which are all WAV from SC.
Seems like it may be a great option to turn to. Good find Dave!

As a side note. I am not sure if any of you ever had a pro account on SC but the offerings you receive from soundcloud is a default setting on Hearthis.
One thing is the ability to "replace" a track. If you uploaded a track and wanted to replace just the audio and wanted to keep the meta tags,info,image,etc. you would have to completely redo it,unless you had a pro account,then it was just a mere switch of the audio.
And yea confirmed, Ive just been using the upload from SC and I get all my WAV, so....if they continue that route who needs premium |

Hey Richard, if you click on your profile name in the header, then "Edit Profile", you can change your page address. You might want to grab your custom name (e.g., RichardButler) before someone else does.

The "Upload/Import" button right next to your profile name (right-hand side of the header bar). |

Richard,
Goto your profile.
Look at the left of Sets, there is a tab called UPLOAD
Highly suggest using the SC uploader |
