i wont go to avalon anymore just on the crowd/vibe it brings. luckily for me, they only have decent talent going through a few times a year. |

it beats the out of exchange/sound/create/etc. what venue is big enough to host hernan but would have a better crowd? |

avalons space isnt bad along with their new and system/design. but those washers and afterhours peeps that wonder in...
create is probably the worst though. but they dont even bring any talent to even make myself consider stepping foot in there.
exchange isnt bad imo and they have the best bookings in the city. sound is meh, just really small. |

This is the EXACT reason I haven't been to Avalon in 5 years and probably will never go back.
I quite like exchange and they do book well even if you sometimes get a weird mix of people. I like Sound as a club but it just gets too packed when there's big name talent.
