Giving this OBS a whirl, had to trick around with it to get it displaying both monitors - also had to switch from ASIO to MME to get the audio working but it came out pretty good.
unfortunately Youtube squeezes both monitors into 1 video as is necessary - as a result its quite small and difficult to view
Start off with a filtered chord sound but end up scrapping it (after quite a while) as i couldnt get it to fit in, thats pretty typical of me, ill scrap something no matter if it sounds good on its own, if its not fitting into the mix
Then just going through bassline, drums, experimenting with fx on drums etc
anyone else like to participate?? :)

Was also messing around last night, came upon a groove and started something. Did a little rough draft recording:
lets keep this thread for videos, do you have any way to record?

Did you want to use OBS for live streaming or just screen capture for youtube?

i think you could do video say with your phone and record the audio seperately - im sure there are programs to sync both together then

You can strap it to your master output and it'll record a stereo WAV while you're recording, meaning you can still use your ASIO drivers. It does mean you have to re-import audio back into your video with a video editing program though.
It's not something you can use for live streaming obviously though.
When you want to live stream you'll need a stream key from somewhere like Youtube, and that's copy/pasted into OBS. Same deal for Twitch afaik.

Not sure that's possible since I don't use a DAW. May just be able to do it with speakers, but I'll look into it, thx.
