hahaha
true
i guess england will give us a run for our money once Warne, McGrath, Waugh, Hayden, Langer, Gilchrist, Ponting, Gillespie, Martyn, Lehmann, Bichel and Lee all retire :D
Good and bad news for England though: Good news is that their newly called up batsman averages 46 in Australia. Bad news is that he plays district cricket for Richmond in Melbourne :D |

Yes we have been very dissapointing and we are e!! There is just no enthusiasm for cricket in England at all. Australia's state cricket is ideal for blossoming new and young talent, where as Englands county cricket seams to have a very conservative approach in forwarding young talent.
I think i'll enjoy the One dayers more than the test matches in this series, because atleast i'll only be dissapointed for a day rather than watching for between 2 and 4 days, and if your extremely looky 5 days:D
Anyway, it starts in about an hour and a half, Come on Egland!! |

Anybody still watching?
poor Warne, missing the world cup :(
but Stuart Macgill is a more than adequate replacement....
and the one-dayers are proving what I've said all along - that England aren't a bad cricket team, they (along with everyone else) are just miles behind the Aussies :) |

Wow, first time I've been in this forum for ages.
I hope Australia get done over at some point, seriously. It's pretty bloody boring watching them all over every team they play (er, metaphorically)..... I mean if every other cricketing country had as much money invested into the sport as the Australians do, we wouldn't look as grand as we do now. Besides, I've always disliked the Australian cricket team (apart from Merv, Boonie, Warnie and the other fellas who don't take it seriously enough :D) and I'm looking forward to the day when some other team becomes top instead (Bangladesh for 2007! Trust me!).
Also, Brett Lee can off. Anyone who takes pride in knocking out inexperienced tail-enders seriously needs his head checked. If only Goughy was playing..... god how I'd like to see Brett Lee jump around the crease till his middle-stump gets shattered by a 160kph yorker..... and at least Gough can bowl on the stumps (taking notes Brett?). |

| Mmmm...I 100% agree Renegade, thing i hate most about Brett Lee is his stupid leaps into the air, he's a moron. What the other teams need are some skillful smart arse batters to do little chips over the keeper when Lee bowls a bouncer.. thats how you win matches :toothless |
