Dude that's just due to how searching in DC works in the first place. When you search, you're basically sending a request to every single individual asking if they have a certain file. So the search spy lets you see what's being requested from you. No worries, it's not spyware or anything, DC++ is open-source so spyware would be ironed out fast. :) |

I've been trying to find Sonic X-Plosion Vol 2 Mixed by DJ Ciacomix on DC hub but i've had no luck, i even have the tracklist but nope, no luck at all

the reason why SOULSEEK isn't loading is because it is directly incorporated into Dalnet. Because Dalnet has been plagued by the DOS virus and those idiots have no idea how to fix the problem or find the virus, both dalnet and soulseek will be down. so far dalnet has lost about 70% of their main sponsors and since SOULseek is dependant on there servers, its gona be a while. good luck waiting |

I do have that song above... I've had it for a long time now! And for your information SoulSeek has nothing to do with Dalnet! In fact the reason SoulSeek was shut down was because of an artist was complaining that SoulSeek users were downloading her remixes of a certain song and they had to shut the server down. If you want proof of that information take a look for yourself : http://www.napjunk.net/forums/viewt...0938a45c02338d2 that web forum explains in DETAIL why SoulSeek went down in the first place. Dalnet had nothing to do with SoulSeek.
Plus no-one has to wait anymore for SoulSeek to return, it has been up and running, faster than ever for 2 days now. Enjoy!

Why thank-you Shawzy, I am very picky when it comes to trance, if it doesnt make me want to jump out of my chair and bust out, well it gets deleted very quickly.
And to E2EK1EL_D3 : I dont know what that problem could be, what connection u on and what ISP? Also what COULD slow your transfers down is how you have your transfer option set-up, as for how many people can download off of you at once, but obviously anyone could figure that out, heh.

My name on Soulseek is DigiNut also but I don't really use it much anymore, since my POS Sympatico DSL connection can't handle any upstream, and then there are the lovely bandwidth limits...
For some reason I think I remember talking to Nytehawk on there before I ever posted on TA. Weird. |
