Ok. Starting a new thread on collegiate football. What school do y'all go to.
San Diego State here. Even though the Aztecs are relatively sorry, they are unbeaten in their conference...
Go Aztecs...?

I don't go to college, and dont have allegince to any one team. However I would like to mention that the bcs is the worst thing that happened to sports since bud selig took over baseball. At the end of the year I think no less than 3 teams will finish undefeated, and only 2 will play for the championships. Hopefully if 4+ teams run the table, they'll remove the bcs and make a playoff

CU here. Looking forward to tommorows game: Colorado at Oklahoma. If the Buffs can run the ball well against Oklahoma's defensive line they have a shot. *finger's crossed*

ya no luck agianst oklahoma huh? they're really a top notch squad. in fact this weekend we're (Texas A&M) playing them, honestly i dont think we stand a chance... though last time they came in here (my freshman year) they were also ranked #1 but they pulled a come from behind 4th quarter win over us.

but in general Texas A&M has been pretty pathetic the last couple years... i feel its about time for a change of the coach, we have such great potential (always more wins the losses) but we can never seem to reach the next level, championship material.

WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

I go to USC and our Trojans are finally where they should be, in the top 10. We have the toughest schedule in the nation. Our lost vs. WSU in OT on the road was a game that we should have won and the other loss vs. KSU was a game where we dropped a lot of easy passes. WSU is ranked #3 and KSU is #12. If you're gonna lose in college football, losing to ranked teams on the road is not a bad thing.

Nevertheless, we have improved since then. Too bad we don't have a shot at the Nationals. I hope WSU makes it to the Nationals so that we can play in the Rose Bowl. Pete Carroll is doing a hell of a job and freshman wide reciever Mike Williams is one hell of a player.

Our remaining schedules are...
- vs. Ariz. St
- @ UCLA
- vs. Notre Dame

I'm going to all of these games, and I have a strong feeling that USC will beat all of these teams, including Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish has weak offense and we'll kill them at our turf. They lost to BC and barely sqweaked by Navy. The BCS rates them too high, but that's good for us, cuz when we beat them, we'll get quality win points and move up in the rankings.

See ya at the Bowl Game!!!!

dont go to UM, but ive been a life long Miami Hurricanes fan. Going for 2 national championships in a row. Bring on Ohio St.??

Miami and Ohio State are the only remaining undefeated teams in the nation and both deserve a shot at the Nationals. However, the regular season is not over.

Miami still needs to play....

-[#21] ranked Pittsburgh
-[NR] Syracuse who defeated a ranked team already
-[#13] Virginia Tech.

Miami could end up losing to one of these teams but I doubt it.

Meanwhile, Ohio State gets to play it's final regular season game against rival #10 Michigan who has a good chance of handing Ohio State it's first lost, wiping them out of the Fiesta Bowl.

Texas already lost their shot at the Nationals, leaving Washington State knocking on the doorstep, patiently awaiting for either Miami or Ohio State to step out.

I strongly predict that it will be Miami vs. Washington State in the Fiesta Bowl. Thats' good for my USC Trojans, who can end up playing in the Rose Bowl, which is only a half-hour drive from my house.

A lot could happen in the next 2-3 weeks and all we can do is wait. May the best team win. ;)

Mistakes are bound to happen sometime to Miami - they've gotten to comfortable in where they are, winning every game. When that happens, things begin to get sloppy. THat hasn't happened yet, and Miami's coaching staff better keep it that way if they want to keep the #1 spot AND win the championship game. If, or when a mistake happens, it's going to be major. Don't forget - it's easier to win regular season games than bowl games

Ohio State hasn't yet shown their full potential, and I'm not just saying this because I'm a fan. Their defense hasn't been performing as well as they should be and without it they wont defeat Michigan State, and it's over. They could give Miami a run for their money

Washington State is still a contender of course but OSU did beat them earlier in the season. Oklahoma might as well be considered out of the running at this point unless OSU and Washington State lose their final games.

This will be an interesting few weeks

Rival Week outcome shows a clearer picture of BCS Standings!!!
Unbeleiveable!!!

[7]USC 52, [25]UCLA 21. Woo-hoo!!!
WASHINGTON 29, [3]WASHINGTON STATE 26 (3OT)
[2]OHIO STATE 14, [10]MICHIGAN 9

If Miami finish their regular season undefeated, they'll play Ohio State for the Nationals. ~Fiesta Bowl~

It is possible that Miami can lose one of their final two games. If that is the case then Iowa will replace Miami.

Meanwhile, it looks like Iowa is awaiting the battle for first place between Washington State and USC. ~Rose Bowl~

Both teams are tied for first in the PAC-10 and if it ends up that way next week, Washington State wins the tie-breaker and will move on to face Iowa. (Cuz they beat USC earlier in the season in TRIPLE OVERTIME)

One thing I fail to understand is that USC has a great chance of ending up higher in the rankings above Washington State in the BCS Standings.

I know that the Fiesta Bowl is the grand prize, but what's the runner-up bowl and the third prestegious bowl. I know that the Sugar and Orange Bowls fit in this category, but in which order?

Last but not least I think the BCS rating is so biased, cuz the Pac-10 teams do not get the recognition that it deserves.

I'd like to see where USC ends up after they beat Notre Dame. This should be a really interesting result. Don't forget last year. Oregon should have gone to the Nationals. The BCS blew them off.

Give the PAC-10 some respect....

GO TROJANS!!!

WASHINGTON STATE LOST?!?!?! OMG! I didn't know that. Wow, this muddies things up a bit

Miami definetly has a chance to lose games and rankings points

And BCS isn't just biased against PAC-10, it's biased against the BIG 10. OSU hasn't been in a championship game since 1968

The BCS Hasnt even been around for more than like 6 years :P Additionally the bcs computers don't take into account what confrence your in while determing records. They arn't biased against anyone. I think the systems stupid, but not biased.
