Does anyone find their girlfriends get in the way of enjoying trance and vice versa?? I do. (i hope she doesnt read this)
Dj_Psygnosis
Nope, she loves RnB....thats why it's so hard.

she hates trance because she says it keeps repeating too much....

yeh whatever, and RNB doesn't, whatever she reckons.

Well, you know a song is an absolute choon when my girlfriend goes "hmmm, that one's not too bad". Mind you, vocals are an absolute must. Any song without vocals is just "repetitive".

Songs which have recently reached my gf's "not too bad" category include:
Riva - Time is the healer (Armin van Buuren vocal mix)
Push vs Sunscreem - Please save me
M-Diva - Reachin' out
Thrillseekers - Dreaming of you
Catch - Walk on water (Above & Beyond mix)
Madelyne - Beautiful child (Hiver & Hammer mix)

Songs which have recently reached the "it would be OK if it had vocals in it" category include:
Darren Tate vs Jono Grant - Let the light shine in
Firewall - Touched
Rapid Eye - Circa Forever (Iberia Main Room Mix)

My girlfriend likes trance, she does prefer tracks with vocals but will listen to anything.

yeah most gals seem to go for r&b, or might just like the more commercial dance/trance kinda stuff. r&b ain't bad tho

I think my girlfriends more into rap/rnb but i think she likes that eurodance like Novaspace - Time After Time etc.

no gf atm but I would never ever date a girl who didnt have respect for trance, I think i would feel insulted hehe
Philby
hah. when i have a girlfriend i'll let you know:rolleyes:
Lanithium
my girlfriend has pretty much the exact same tastes in music as i do... which is great!

i make alot of mixtapes for her car for us to listen to when were driving places.. good to get feedback from someone on my mixing/tune selection..

its great not having a gf telling you turn that off everytime u put on some music u like! its also perfect for when events come around cos theres no argueing on if were going or not, or who to see!

im very happy with the way things are :)
Decepticon
Gees u got it set Lanithium!

My girl is a Kylie fan, not saying anything bad about her cause she is an aussie and is doing pretty good for herself, but after hearing her music played over and over again it does tend to get a bit on the nerves.
She's also into all those eurodance song's as well like Time after time.
But if i do put on a few of my Trance cd's she only tends to like the one's with "pretty" vocals in it as she puts it. :)

my girlfriend couldn't give a rat's arse what I listen to...

but then again it's hard to find an opinionated blow-up doll these days. :D

Nah seriously though, I'm thinkin' about getting a new one.
InAcoma
yeah well my gf.....;)
has the queer as folk soundtrack.... :D

HAHAHA all i can say is that it is so much better when the other half actually likes and respects trance... it makes it more special & thats one more thing that the 2 of u have in common

i haven't dated a person who actually likes trance... so i cant comment altho my ex was a gabba freak
