1.Sasha
2.Armin Van Buuren
3.Paul Van Dyk
4.Digweed
5. [ Someone other than Tiesto ]

I really do NOT think tiesto will make top 5 this year... i mean.. why the would he? He has turned to horse dump...

and if he does make it. Then there are alot of in stupid idiots who are voting for him on his past glory and not his performance this year.

Dude, what are you talking about? Tiesto's Dutch Dimension set is possibly the best set of the year ! Add to that the absolutely incredible recent Global DJ Broadcast set and you can see that Tiesto is not as bad as people claim.

I'm 95% positive that Tiesto will make it to the top 3 this year. And IMHO he has full rights to it, simply out of respect for all his past achievements which he didn't get enough recognition for.
In 2000 when he was at his peak, the guy only got ranked 25th or something like that, even though he deserved to be #1. Now is his time !

if it is going by dj of the year, i think armin deserves it. how has done so much this year, and his radio show is huge (bet he won't even make the top 5)... if its the best dj of all time there no doubt that oakenfold is the man! sasha and digweed are big in the states and thats where the votes are coming from, so my predictions are:
1) tiesto
2) sasha
3) digweed
4) oakenfold
5) van dyk

BAH,

i once loved tiesto too. If this was 2000 or even 2001 i would be voting him for number one.

Most of his sets this year have been turd whether you like to admit it or not! Have you actually seen him live? He has been "ok" on occasions when i have seen him... but he doesnt have a patch on armin this year.

You cant vote him #1 for one or two sets which have been good. 95% of armins sets have been top quality this year. Which is way he gets my vote.

I've seen him at Amnesia and he completely destroyed me(in a good sense). I have also seen armin 3 times this year and he has been so so... His trackselection is amazing, but IMHO there is really no flow to his sets..

I saw Tiesto twice these last two weeks and he destroyed me too both times :p. And my fav. livesets this year have to be Dutch Dimension and his awesome Impulz set.

Armin's set from last saturday was def. awesome with so many great anthems from now and from before, but still, Tiesto's sets have more of an epic flow that are superior to Armin's or any other trance superstar imo.
Bedrock

That's a good list there. Wow, it would be great if LTJ Bukem made it that high but i don't think that's possible. I love intelligent drum and bass!

Tiesto has a fat en chance for top 5 (after saying that, he probably will be in the top 5, hahahha)!! For me, top 5 is (no particular order)

Danny Tenaglia
LTJ Bukem
Sasha
Dave Seaman
Nick Warren

Although, i know John Digweed will come in at 1, 2, or 3 :)

Carl Cox will also be up there for sure!! Same with PvD
