Fo' Sheezy nervous :) (whatever that actually means...)
And Jah I think Joshva meant that because CD's generally have a higher range and slightly more trebley/clear/distinct sound the beats are much more defined and crisp (think of psy beats) whereas vinyl has a slightly more "wide" bass sound, because of the lower frequencies, a more sort of wet/not quite as distinct bass sound.
Sort of like...
CD (digital)
**
Vinyl (analog)
****
^^My visual representation of the bass.......
God I think I'm going insane :wtf:
Personally I think the difference in sound quality/stlye is so minimal it's pointless to argue about it. ;) |

| If there's such a clear audible difference between CD and vinyl .. perhaps someone would like to grab a liveset, listen to it and then tell us the tracks played off CD and the tracks played off vinyl :) |

But let's not forget that the sampling quality (or whatever it's called) diminishes the quality so far that sometimes u can't even tell if the crowd cheering is the track or not(just as an example)! So to differentiate between cd and vinyl would be impossible. It'd be near impossible to tell them apart when you're there, let alone on a liveset rip.

To get back to pissing on Nick Skitz... Hmmm... What can I say... I was somewhat of a fan of his compilations a loooooooooong... But they lead me into discovering DJs and trance... So in a way... I'm thankful...
Now... As we are the au.ta (THE trance elite of Australia), we have a right to piss on whoever, whenever. |

You are right you know :) seeing as most live sets are broadcasted over radio anyway, and even if they were not and they are in mp3 format, all the sample rates and frequencies would have been cut to all from the mp3 compression. :) |

Yeah I started out listening to nick skitz, alex k ,etc... However back then their music still sucked, but I liked one or two of their songs from each album. The ones I liked just happened to be the more trancey ones :) Then I downloading this eurodance track and thought 'now this rules' and haven't looked back since.
I too have a problem of laughing when someone tells me they bought the new wild/skitz cd :) |

HOW the hell is this bloke so in big, and he owns a in ferrari...WTF!!! |
I dont reckon CD or Vinyls makes a good DJ, its has its pros and cons:
BOTH need to be CUED, BEAT MATCHED and PLAYED with a good track selection... so explain the difference please :) |
