Yeah obviously Chab and Moogwai are the same person, but they're different monikers for good practical reason, as anyone who has listened to and contrasted the difference in style understands; he has one full length LP under each, and there's a pretty big difference between Dub, Edits and Whisky-Coke and 5 Wishes & More.

But yeah I find myself going on a Chab kick every few months, and I while I think most people enjoy him under Moogwai for having always produced in the spirit of 'true trance,' his work under Chab is not to be underestimated:

i don't consider moowai tracks relevant in this thread either. MIKE and push may be interchangable, but chab and moowai are not.

they may as well be two different entities - they are two totally different projects, and the styles don't resemble each other at all. they are two totally different genres.

chab blows moogwai out of the water, hands down. it isn't even close when it comes to the quality - he made some downright cheap and cheesy stuff under moogwai. early days, of course, but his graduation to chab is pretty astonishing.

sunrise is a brilliant track, love that one too. that clips seems broken though.

Original mix of this might be my favorite Moogwai production.

That Chab mix of Wasteland is still my favorite thing under that alias.

Noticed that the Chab remix 1 of this track was posted up, but the Chab remix 2 is just stunning, and in a completely different vein:

As most of my big anthem faves have already been listed I thought I would list some less known tracks

1. Hypetraxx - The Darkside (DJ Nukem vs Chab Remix) ----

2. Chab - The Sinus ----

3. Fisher Project - I get a rush (Moogwai vs Chab Remix) ----

Anyone have any pictures of his older studio to see what he was working with?
