Thats a pretty nasty kick, good track too. What makes this track dirty to you, it all seems relatively clean to me.

Heard them drop this back in October, absolute ing monster. I do wish we'd drop all this clean/dirty/polished/raw nonsense when talking about techno though.

Distorted 909 or some replicant thereof, no? Also used effectively here:

The kick, I guess. Although it's pretty clean, overall.

Yeah, it's retarded. I said it mostly in jest, alluding to that previous thread.

Thank the Lord. And cheers for posting this actually - it was still unreleased when they played it so I had no idea what it was at the time. Reasonably sure it was the first track they were playing when I came up the stairs from the basement room. I remember turning to my mate and mouthing " me!" in disbelief.

Nice one. I recently heard it on a Charlotte de Witte mix and was similarly blown away. Apparently it's a digital-only release.

From what I've seen on FB they do things the opposite way around to many techno labels - digital comes out first and vinyl often follows later.

Yeah, I'm sure it's intentional. Many will be waiting for the 12", I'm sure.

But why? Its a way of describing the aesthetic of audio. Some techno is really polished and squeaky clean, some techno is over produced and compressed, some techno is dirty and grimy.
