Didn't do the river thing, but our group went to the swimming pool bringing dark rum for shots and beers. Drinking continued well after our swim, got a damn strong buzz. Had the worst liquid s this morning, almost made me late to work. :o

Good thing the chick that spent the night had already left by the time I blew the bathroom up.

MCD here in Germany isn't bad. Every American ever that comes here comments on how much better the fast food is. I mean, it's not health food by all means, but you get what you see. A lot of people eat that's just as unhealthy on a regular basis at home. I'd rather have real fast food than frozen-isle garbage. I also find it hilarious how many people boycott MCD and then eat at the corner kebab store which certainly doesn't follow any of the strict standards MCD does... It's ing expensive though for what it is. 7 euros for a menu, my ass.

My colleague's son went to London for a week, school exchange program. I said I visited London long ago and still remember how awful the food was. Guess what his son complained about. They were so happy to visit a MD.

London is one of the culinary capitals of the world. You can find amazing food from every corner of the planet. You have to be remarkably to eat bad food in London.

I couldn't possibly concur more than I concur right now.

I had awesome food in London: My first falafel (not a thing here, specially vegetarian), loads of Cantonese food, and some delicious pizza. Having said that, it took me 5 years to see my sodium levels return to normal after a dinner at Wagamama and my Nando's wasn't cheeky :(

Had a wild night in Atlantic City, me and my dad's friend picked up a couple of black queens. I don't know whether I should be excited or a little embarassed, as one of them was older than my mother. Ah well, good times, anyway.

I guess you could say you and your dad are now... The King of Queens

Now it is, but it's only a very recent development, in the last 5 years or so. Food was terrible in London unless you wanted Curry or Stodge.

Now it's arguably up there with just about any major European City but I totally understand why people have the idea that London and the UK is for food.

Funnily enough, London (Camden, specifically) was where I first discovered the wonders of Brazilian food.

I find it hard to believe you couldn't get good Caribbean food in London five years ago.

I'm not even talking about Michelin star restaurants and fine dining here. I've had amazing food for a few quid from market stalls. I know there's the whole street food explosion going on, but I find it a bit hard to believe you couldn't get a broad choice of international cuisine in London of all places until recently.
