Mmmm, it's Friday, and I have a couple of tracks to finish up, but I just fancy a little inspiration booster.

I have the worlds test memory, so I cant recall products names, and when I do a Google search for synths it's so tedious

Maybe something a bit simple and cheesey, with ready to go 'big' epic plucks / leads which I can wank over

Quick my darlings - I wanna buy now

NO DONGLE / I LOK - I just like buying and playing

Rob Papen Predator is on sale for $79.

Synthmaster is a pretty powerful synth for $99.

Check www.jrrshop.com or audiodeluxe for discounts.

Predator now comes with several thousand presets. It's still pretty good.
evo8
TAL Sampler is only $60 if your after something a little different

Thanks I looked at the sugeestions but nothing grabbed me yet

I was listening to HIVE and Tone 2s brand new synth, but mehhh

Sylenth still does 'that' thing better than Hive, and I think all the Tone 2 stuff sounds a little too special sauce.

You got Serum and Spire?
cryophonik
Just buy a Virus Polar already. :D
evo8
im not sure ill ever buy another soft synth - have enough to cover all sounds now, id much rather spend time noodling around on some hardware

The last couple of weeks I've sold:
Bassstation2
Pulse2
Slim Phatty
minitaur
Acidlab drumatix
roland TR-8
MOOG Ring Modulator
OTO Biscuit
Mam mb33
Erika acidbox

On sale is still
Acidlab Miami
DSI pro2 or P12

I'll keep:
P12 or Pro2
Analog Rytm (supercomplete since 1.3 update!)
ABSTRAKT Avalon Bassline with my mf104-m delay (yummie!)
ROLAND Integra-7

For all other things I use Steinberg Retrologue (best softsynth ever!)

I agree, but I find myself using Hive more and more with each new song/idea. I think a lot of that has to do with the interface, where I really prefer the layout/look of Hive.

Ditto. I'll keep Gladiator around for its versatility (and heavy use in older projects), but I sold off my other Tone2 synths and don't plan on buying more of them until they come up with something that doesn't sound so...Tone2, I guess.

No divorce lol :D

Bought a Mercedes E Class Coupe and needed some funds for 20" wheels, Brabus tuning and some car detailing stuff (polish machine, extractor, waxes, shampoos etc.)
So a new money pit :D

But also, most of the synths mentioned above didn't get used beyond some noodling and doing firmware updates. It was too much. Did not sell any of my compressors or EQs just the synth stuff. And still got plenty left to play around with.
I really want to commit to the RYTM especially after the new update.
