Pop Project - actually happening?

So, I've been playing with this idea for a couple years. I wanted to see what it would be liking working closely with a singer to write songs and create music. A month or 2 back I started creating basic instrumental ideas and have been looking for a vocalist. Didn't have the best luck, finding the right person seemed impossible. It looks like it might have paid off though because I found someone last week who is perfect for this concept. She is a bit young though, in her teens. She's eager, talented, smart, beautiful, etc, and has something like 300k followers on Instagram. Though she's been singing a while, she hasn't had a "break out" yet and no original songs, but I'm ready to help her accomplish that. I'm not interested in fame or anything but the exposure will be there. I'd be proud to use my real name and to mention I'm working with her, but ghost producing using an alias, pop production, this is a new world for me. They've (her and her mom) have had offers from the regular Hollywood pop scene producers, but not until I reached out to them did they find someone authentic, so I think not coming from that scene is a good thing and sort of what I think can make this work. I'm confident we can do great things, and if you look at someone like Kylie Jenner who has no talent what-so-ever but just put out a track on Soundcloud with like 3mil views, you can see that even though she has no talent, the fact that she has the exposure makes such a difference to her. Working with someone who has the talent, real talent, the massive exposure, who has a compassionate personality and is down to earth like this singer I found, making something real is something within our grasp. She has image, she's a model and is very beautiful, but moving forward if we have something musically that is just pure quality, doing what she loves (which is music) can be actualized. I am absolutely committed to making sure this is quality music.
Any thoughts, industry related or strictly musical, are appreciated! Rann, L4C, etc.
Thanks guys :) |

Almost every singer I've ever worked with has had offers from "LA producers who have worked with countless big names". A few of the singers have actually followed up on them and they're always the same thing - a dude with a barebones home studio who knows some guys who worked with some guys who worked with [insert famous pop artist names]. Then they tell you their rates for working with you, and how they'll be getting your recordings into the hands of the bigwigs at Sony Music, etc. It's all BS, but so easy for naive youngsters to think it's genuine since it's coming from a guy in "Hollywood."
Anyway, glad you found some local talent to work with. :) |

| Why would they not accept offers from established Hollywood producers? If she wants to make a living doing music that is about the only path she has. |
