Because everyone loves a trilogy. You know how these things go now - expect lots of driving, pumping progressive with the occasional full-on trancey climax. And yes, the first three tracks are just played in sequence from Fluke's album Puppy. Sue me.
01. Fluke - My Spine [One Little Indian]
02. Fluke - Another Kind Of Blues [One Little Indian]
03. Fluke - Hang Tough [One Little Indian]
04. Saints & Sinners - Pushin' Too Hard [Bedrock]
05. Chris Cowie - Habana (Remix) [Hook]
06. LSG - Down To Earth (Album Version) [Superstition]
07. Dos Deviants - 3Waves [WAQT]
08. Blue Amazon - And Then The Rain Falls (Andy Ling's Soviet Dub) [Jackpot]
09. Christian West - Eterna (Club Dub) [Fluid]
10. Marc Mitchell Vs Shiloh - Run To The Light (Dub) [Method]
11. Bedrock - Heaven Scent (Jack Moss GU:013 Expansion) [Bedrock]
12. Planisphere - Hosanna [Bonzai]
13. Lemon8 - Pressure [Basic Energy]
14. Minimalistix - Close Cover (Filterheadz Remix 2) [Mostiko]
15. Signum - First Strike [Jinx]
16. Fu Man Choo - Outlaw (Praha Remix) [good:as]
17. Chris Cowie - House Of God [Bellboy]
18. Silvio Ecomo - Standing [Hooj Choons]
19. Humate - Choose Life (Trancesetters Remix) [Superstition]
20. Incolumis - One With Sanctuary [J00F] |

| Super duper in. I'm in my offseason for marathon training so I'll queue this up while I'm at work sometime. Looking forward to it. |

| It's like you tailor made this mix for me. |

| sounds like pumping is an understatement. quick flick through and this mix is straight up destruction. will give it a closer listen very soon. seems like a fitting end to the trilogy. |

Easily the best of the three in my book. Has a better flow than the first, and better tunes / more digestible than the second. The only possible criticism I could level is at the opening sequence believe it or not, which to me sounded a bit forced.
I bloody loved the apex of the set, which for me was Heaven Scent into Hosanna. I thought I remember you saying you didn't like the original of Hosanna though?

It's one of several Planisphere tracks I used to think had unnecessary momentum-stopping breakdowns, but I now realise are good tracks to provide those big moments in this kind of set. I like the way the Whirloop mix cruises throughout, but the production isn't nearly as good as the original. Nobody does a thumping kick drum like Laurent. |

Hmm, thought I left feedback on this the other day, not sure where in the internet-ether that post got to.
Really great conclusion to the trilogy, though I think overall I just slightly prefer #1 to this. However, 3Waves -> Heaven Scent/Hosanna is probably my favourite overall stretch of all 3. Just the absolute definition of pumping prog. I also particularly enjoyed the transition from Fluke to Saints & Sinners.
Excellent work :)
On to more modern mixes, now? Or what's in the pipeline? |

Cheers!
Yeah, this will be the last mix exploring this sound/era, if only because I've ran out of tunes that can readily be obtained without playing vinyl. I might try and continue in the vein of Pressure Point - some middle ground between tech house, melodic techno and modern progressive. |

| I won't bother commenting on the tracks since you know it's just gem after gem, but I do want to point out a minor technical issue I had. On a mix like this where there are tunes with big, boomy kicks, the low end EQ needs special attention during transitions. Otherwise the kicks start phasing each other out, which in turn results in loss of momentum. The phasing issue here was pretty minor, but I did notice it a couple of times. |

| Yeah, I'm pretty sure I know which transitions you're talking about. It's less than perfect in a couple of places but I didn't feel it was significant enough to go back and redo. |
